Henry and Albert Shotmeyer came to America in 1925 with 37 cents, a work ethic forged in the Netherlands, and a conviction that starting from scratch was not a disadvantage — it was a foundation. The century that followed proved them right: from a single service station to the largest Mobil distributor in the country, from Maine to Florida, from heating oil to solar energy, the Shotmeyer family has never stopped building.
